The New Flaming Lips Album Is Streaming On Colbert Nation September 17, 2009

One of my favorite bands working today, the Flaming Lips, were on the Colbert Report last night and have partnered with colbertnation.com to stream their new album in its entirety. So far, the sound is more ethereal and drifting than their last album, with a little John Carpenter thrown in for good measure. I’m also reminded of how much I like their drummer, who as it turns out lives in Lawrence, KS.
