I only heard about this game very recently, but this trailer alone sold me on the concept and this informative preview has solidified it on my upcoming games radar (gamdar?). I especially like how the audio seems realistically muffled for the outer space environment, an effect Dead Space used to incredible success.

I don’t know what this game is about. It’s called Evidence of Everything Exploding. Maybe it’s about secret societies and conspiracies, perhaps authority or the problems with modern journalism. And maybe it’s just about butterflies. I dare you to figure it out.

This video, which contain frightened desk chairs and oil drums running away from Pyros, entertains me to no end. The actual game mode is a twist on hide and seek where one team spawns as various pieces of scenery and the other as scenery hunting Pyros. I think there is definitely room for some ridiculous fun here, but it looks like it may also contain a bit too much waiting around for something to happen. For now, enjoy the game mod vicariously, and visit Rock Paper Shotgun for a list of Prop Hunt servers.

Something about this mod is unsettles me way more than normal Left 4 Dead. It’s a suffocating, jarring, deathly cold horror. It’s the color of insanity, the smell darkness.
I think it’s the Teletubbies.

This mod is pretty easy to describe: nearly every sound effect in Half Life 2 has been replaced by a sound effect made with this modder’s mouth. I only wish he had gone all the way and done voice overs for every character. For some reason, he thinks that “it would sound dumb”. It’s not like the rest of the mod you made was a piece of high art buddy.
